General Goals |

Students should acquire the capacity to analyze and specify software within the context of an organization’s objectives. To do this, it is used the object oriented paradigm of analysis, using CASE tools implementing the UML specification language. Specific aspects emphasized include structural, behavioral and architectural modeling techniques. |

Programmatic contents |
||
Introductory concepts: Universe of discourse, model, modeling language, schema, process (methodology), method. Software modeling: principles and motivation. Requisites analysis. The use and application of UML different views using and interactive and incremental process. Namely, use case, class/object, interaction, components and deployment diagrams.
